East Broad Street Construction (Holland Road to Grand
Prairie) Updated - March 1, 2011 Per the City of Mansfield, the rebuilding of East Broad Street from Holland Road to the Grand Pairie city limits should begin in the Fall of 2011. This project will re-build East Broad Street along Lowe's Farm from a two lane road into a 4 lane divided roadway. Left turn lanes into the two Lowe's Farm entrances from northbound East Broad are also included as part of this project. During construction, the current two lane roadway will continue to be used during most of the project because the existing roadway more or less lies in the median between the new divided roadways that will be built The new curb of the new southbound roadway will be located approximately 20ft from the brick fence along the east side of Lowe's Farm.
