2008 Reserve Study
The inaugural Board of Directors of the Lowe's Farm Homeowners
Association feels very strongly that the association board of
directors has a fiduciary responsibility to protect the
association from any situation of financial hardship.
As such, the HOA should be financially positioned to address the
repair or replacement of major common area components such
as the roof on the amenity center, fencing, pool equipment, and
decks. Healthy reserves are critical to our association because
the costs of maintaining the property should be maintained by
all current and future owners of the property and maintaining a
healthy reserve fund will avoid unexpected special assessments
for emergency repairs in the future. In November of
2007, the Lowe's Farm HOA Board of Directors commissioned a
professional and certified third party consultant to
assess the HOA property and provide the board with an objective
reserve study. Armed with the
results of the study, we are pleased to report that the
association is in a healthy financial position to address
current and future major repair and replacement.
2009 Insurance Valuation of Assets
In October 2009, The Board of Directors of Lowe's Farm Homeowners
Association, requested a valuation of the association's assets to ensure all
assets are property insured in the event of a major loss.
